We program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems across vessel functions — emission control, ballast management, energy management, and engine room automation. Where remote access is available, we diagnose and resolve faults without sending an engineer. Where it isn’t, we attend onsite.
Control Panels & Instrumentation
Supply, installation, and repair of control cabinets, switchboards, and power distribution panels. Sensor calibration and replacement carried out onboard to class standards.

Battery & Energy Storage Systems
Melbridge handles the full commissioning lifecycle of marine battery systems — from installation supervision through to electrical integration and ongoing fault response. All BMS commissioning is carried out across DNV-certified platforms.

After commissioning, we remain available for diagnostics and fault response throughout the system’s operational life.
Safety Systems
Installation and commissioning of both addressable and conventional detection systems, including fire, flame & gas detection. We carry out sensor replacement, loop testing, and panel reconfiguration — and attend PSC inspections where detection system findings are raised.
Every job is closed with documentation. PSC findings resolved on departure.
